Outskirts Press Publishing Experience Review From: L.J. Leamen, author of Everyone Has A Name

“I will strongly recommend Outskirts Press to anyone who is writing a book. I am going to use them again. Overall, the best experience ever!”

Louise Jane Madgett was born and raised in a small town called Don Mills, later to be known as Toronto. After raising a family, I now live in Mississauga with my husband and 3 dogs. I am now realizing a life-long passion to write.

Product description…

Ever since one of my high school English teachers told me I had a flare for writing, I’ve had this burning desire to write and be published. After the passing of my dear father, thoughts and verses would pop into my head at the strangest times. So I started writing them down so I wouldn’t forget. These thoughts and verses started adding up and with the help of my husband we started to compile these on the computer. Don’t ask where some of these thoughts came from, they just did. So here I proudly present my thoughts, dreams and real life in the form of poetry. I hope you enjoy.Outskirts Press Review

  2. I’ve just launched my book with Outskirts Press as my publisher on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. What marketing options did you choose after your book was listed? Now I feel alone and lost.

    1. Dear Susanne
I did not choose any as they wanted more money. I had already spent enough. It is by word of mouth that people are getting to know and purchase my book. Advertise on Facebook and Twitter about your book and also tell friends and family to buy it on Amazon and have them post a review.

      1. That is the same strategy that I’m following now. I set up Facebook, Twitter, Word Press, Headliner, and Shelfari accounts. Barnes & Noble posts my friends’ reviews but for some reason, Amazon won’t.
        Good luck on your book.

      2. I agree. I’ve spent over two thousand dollars already. I opened Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, Shelfari, and GoodReads accounts. I’ve told all my friends but I can’t tell if they bought any books yet. Outskirts Press shows sales once a month, Amazon shows weekly, and I don’t even know about Barnes & Noble.
        Good luck,
        Susanne
