Teaching language arts and writing to children has been a journey of mine for over 15 years. It has been exciting to guide them through the writing process until they are ready to publish their stories. They have received many awards and recognition for their original stories and poetry. It has always been a dream of mine to publish books of my own. Now, my dream has come true. This is my first children’s book, which is actually based on true events from my childhood. It is my hope that it will inspire future artists to find that inner longing to be something bigger than what they can imagine themselves to be.
