Outskirts Press Publishing Experience Review From: Rhoda Leavitt, author of Our Gypsy Neighbors

“As I knew virtually nothing about publishing a book, the help I received was timely, professional and exactly what I needed each time. The end product told the tale and it was just what I had hoped for.”

Product description…

It is the first day of summer vacation, and Sue and Rod and their parents are heading north to the fruit orchards. The kids are looking forward to living in a tent and going barefoot all summer-maybe the Great Depression has some good points after all! The family settles in at camp near a river, and Sue and Rod enjoy fishing and living outdoors. A few days later, Sue is intrigued when a group of Gypsies set up camp nearby, and she is excited when she spots a little girl her own age wearing a bright red ribbon in her hair. A brief but beautiful friendship forms between the two young girls, despite a language and culture barrier, as they bond over a black-and-white kitten named Fluffy. This charming story features beautiful watercolor illustrations and is sure to delight readers of all ages.Outskirts Press Review
