Outskirts Press Publishing Experience Review From: Sandra K. Deal, author of Poems and Short Stories

“I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Outskirts Press team. They seem to be very knowledgeable in all areas of their profession and very qualified to answer my questions and make me feel confident in my decision making.”

Sandra K. Deal traveled considerably as a child with her family looking for work and has lived in many states. She was the youngest of eight children and the only one to graduate from high school. In her adult years, she went to college studying what was interesting to her though she did not get a degree. Even though she is from a poor family, she is very proud of my family.

Product description…

Stories and poems that have a very wide range of subjects which will, I believe, attract a varied range of demographics. There is something in here that will interest a very wide reading audience. Some of the stories are true and some are fiction. The first poem is the first thing I ever wrote and have had it called “profound.” It was based on a family who had just lost a family member. I wrote it in 1996. When my brother in law passed in 2010, my sister said if she had not known better, she would have thought it was written for her and her husband. Praise: Ms. Deal has great insight regarding the wishes and fears of senior citizens. I have enjoyed reading her articles. -Helen Walker, Aurora, CO. Very compelling reading. The stories make you want to keep going. They make you want more. -Linda Farr, Olean, NY. I have found her stories to be very interesting and good reading. -Sue Chambers, Aurora, CO. When you read “50 and Mentally Ill”, you better have tissues handy, it is a tear jerker. -Joyce Holden, Crystal River, FLOutskirts Press Review
