“Right up to the marketing process, I had a very positive experience with staff at Outskirts Press. For the most part I found it a straightforward process and my author rep holding my hand when necessary. Kudos to both Amy (my initial contact at Outskirts Press) and Jenny. Both very personable and helpful. But the marketing guy, Al, dropped the ball and though he did make an initial contact via voice message, he became somewjat of a phantom after that, unavailable to my call and emails. That’s why I’m marking acceptable; overall, it could have been excellent, except for the final stage of marketing. Also, editing, while workable, could be more advanced, perhaps instead of using boxes, Outskirts Press could allow authors to make corrections on book galley and submit?”

A Great Read!
“I just finished your book and have to say it was a great read. I actually welled up at the end when you were leaving for Costa Rica, imagining having to say goodbye to people who had become friends in such a short space of time. I did feel when I was reading Visions of Venezuela that I was listening to you tell your story over a beer on the deck. You do have an easy way of narrating. It has been a pleasure to be part of your journey in this fashion and I look forward to buying a copy to read to Tony. Cheers mate!” — Michelle Meynaert, Auckland, New ZealandOutskirts Press Review
