Outskirts Press Publishing Experience Review From: Richard G. Bertini, MD, author of Memories: With a Sprinkling of Opinion

“When I started I had two achievable goals. The first was to write the book, and it turned out better than I expected. The second was to have the book look as good as possible, and with the help of Outskirts Press, this also turned out better than expected. I love the cover and am very pleased with the interior formatting. Whether it sells is secondary to me. I have something of which I am proud to give to my family and friends. Although this project was harder work than I expected, I am happy I took on the task, and happy with Outskirts Press.”

Dr. Bertini is a retired Orthopedic Surgeon who practiced medicine for forty years in the same small New England city where he was born and brought up. These anecdotes represent fragments of his life from childhood to eighty, both personal and professional-including experiences as a college trustee, president of a state Medical Society, active member of a local and national church with outreach to the Soviet Union and Haiti, and as the doctor on a high school Tall Ship for two Atlantic Crossings. The opinions range from political to religious. Everyone has a story to tell. The author hopes his stories will prove to be entertaining and that they will trigger readers to recall pleasant memories of their own.
