Marquita Kinard was born in 1941 and grew up in the fifties in Portland, OR. She is educated in Music Education, English and Business Development and has written many technical pieces while owning a management consulting company. Currently, she teaches music and has released a CD of Original music titled Journey to the Self. She is the mother of five adult children and the grandmother of five.
