Jerry Hamric is simply everyman, albeit with a unique viewpoint, trying to get through life as it presents itself to him. He’s worked as a gas attendant, custodian, production worker, roofer, musician and so on, all the while watching the way people act, almost as an alien from another planet would. This is a book about what he sees and thinks. He lives a simple, no-frills life in southwestern Pennsylvania. Can be contacted via email at 5jerry@myway.com
“This email wound up in a different file, hence the LONG delay. Overall, publishing was a positive experience. I like the fact that the publishing house doesn’t interfere with the author’s work. My book was published with some typographical errors which were caught post-production, but because of an error on my part, I had to rewrite it, and got impatient and rushed it. So I am blaming myself – I should have taken more time, but again, I got impatient. But I made an egregious mistake in the content I will have to correct in a corrected edition when finances allow, and I am surprised nobody caught it. Even though I didn’t pay for copyediting services, someone should’ve called me out on it. It’s a two-edged sword, as I appreciate the fact that Outskirts doesn’t interfere with the author’s work, somebody should’ve said something. Though it comes down to ME doing it right, which I didn’t, nobody caught it. In general, it was an exciting, positive experience, seeing something I wrote make it to the point where it’s an actual professionally produced item, for sale worldwide to anybody who wants to buy it. The people who worked on it were friendly and supportive; one can tell they enjoy their work. I live on a TIGHT budget, but if the money frees up and I get another manuscript, I would publish with you again.”

Product description…
One man’s take on life.
Ever feel alone? Maybe you’re not! “PEARLS OF WISDOM,” also known as “don’t shoot The Messenger,” is a politically incorrect collection of musings, off-beat ideas, complaints, playfulness, hostility, and a disappointed idealism, assembled in one package for all to enjoy, especially anyone who feels like a fish out of water in this world.
