Annie Brown, author of Christians with Pervasive Issues

ANNIE BROWN is the mother of four adult children and five grandchildren. She is a licensed minister and social worker. As a social worker, Annie works with the terminally ill, providing emotional support at the most critical time in an individual’s life. It is Annie’s desire that Christians work through their pervasive issues before the end of life, so that the transition between death and eternity can be smooth, and not cluttered with unresolved conflicts.

“I was completely satisfied with my experience at Outskirts Press. I could not have asked for a better author representative.”

What Issues Stand Between You and God?

Even as a faithful Christian, there may be times when you feel that there is no hope of escaping issues and themes in your life that ensnare and trip you up time and time again. When a certain pattern of behavior or type of suffering has been following you all your life, it’s hard to believe that you can ever escape from it. Christians with Pervasive Issues shows us that every child of God can be delivered from issues that cause them to be a victim, rather than walking in victory. In compassionate, no-nonsense language, Annie Brown demonstrates that with genuine repentance, using God’s principles, and the right counseling/support, you can overcome anything. Christians with Pervasive Issues gives you the ray of hope you need in order to heal your life, and get closer to God.Outskirts Press Review

  1. Minister Brown, where can I start talking about your book. First I want to say thank you for everything. Your book has blessed me in so many ways that it would take me all day to explain. You knw you bring out issues that I didn’t even know I was dealing with until I started examining myself, some of them came frm my childhood and I carried them on into my adulthood ,I dealt with pride for years until I came to Joyful Noise two years ago and Pastor taught a lesson dealing with pride and how to overcome it. I keep reading your book over and over an I want to thank you. The life you live is a inspiration to me. You’ll have touched me in so many ways I love my church family.

    1. Brother Jackson…thank you for the encouragement. It is my desire that the results that you found to be helpful is what I want readers to achieve from reading the book. My prayer for you is that you will continue to be successful in overcoming and to move into your destiny.Remember you have purpose.

  2. Annie Brown–I am a Christian with a pervasive issue as well and am publishing a book presently with Outskirts. The name is “A Bipolar’s Song” and through relaying my story it is my hope that many in the mental health arena, both those ill and their caregivers, will benefit greatly in hearing a voice that lends courage to their tough road. The book is filled with inspirational and whimsical poetry as well and is on the presses right now. I am a bipolar in recovery: speaking for the National Alliance of the Mentally Ill, serving as mother of two grown children, and author of the above mentioned book along with two others that I hope to publish soon. Thank you for being an encouraging light from the Christian perspective!

    1. Paula…thank you for your encouragement…I am proud of you that you have been empowered with the courage to address mental illness. Too many people suffer with this pervasive issues and because of the stigma will not get the help they need. I look forward to reading your book. My prayer is that it will accomplish the task in which it is written. With all the post-traumatic stress and other mental illness, I pray that your book will bless all who will take heed to your testimony.
