Charlie Baker, a freshman at San Diego State University, is persuaded to take a suitcase back east to Boston, Massachusetts, from Tijuana, Mexico. His vehicle has a flat tire outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. A state police officer stops to assist Charlie and sees the suitcase, which is opened without Charlie’s permission. The contents of the suitcase cause Charlie to be arrested and incarcerated.
